Due to the very high level of muck in our canal the RHOA Board has closed the Boat Ramp for deployment of watercraft with a trailer effective April 13, 2020.
The Riverside Boat Ramp area is private property that is insured and maintained by the HOA for the use of Riverside residents who are HOA members in good standing and their registered guests.
The primary use of the boat ramp area is to launch boats. A secondary use of the boat ramp area is for “temporary” overflow vehicle parking.
The intent of the boat ramp parking policy is to prevent the unauthorized use of the boat ramp area by non-residents for insurance and security concerns and to contact residents parked in the boat ramp area in case of blocked access to launch a boat or emergency situations.

Update 15 May 2024
Brevard County has tentatively been awarded funding through the FL legislature for phase III. They hope to confirm those funds in July. If that goes through Brevard hopes to star work by early 2025. Everything is currently on hold due to lack of funding.
The next Brevard County canal dredging meeting is October 2, at Kiwanis Island at 6pm for those interested in attending.
District 2 Dredge Committee
