The Spring 2026 Riverside HOA general community meeting was held at the Merritt Island Rotary Park on Friday, June 5th. The required Quorum was met with 24 members physically in attendance, combined with 24 proxies held by members attending.

The HOA Board Meeting
The first meeting of the new board will be June 17th at 7:30 PM. It will be held at 75 Granada Ave. The homeowners are welcome to attend. The agenda will be as follows.
1. Call to order
2. Review old items
3. New items to include:
Revising the budget
Repairing and repaving the boat ramp
Repairing or replacing the damaged front entrance sign
Addressing dead grass and irrigation problems near the boat ramp
Repairing, sealing, and painting HOA-owned seawall sections near the ramp
Continuing efforts with the county regarding Riverside dredging
Considering security measures, such as a gate, for the boat ramp
4. Schedule the next meeting.
Due to not meeting the quorum at the Spring 2025 HOA general community meeting, no business was conducted.

Garbage and Yard Waste Pick-up
Garbage is picked up twice a week on Monday and Thursday. Yard waste and recycling is picked up on Friday. The holiday schedule is as follows.

Veteran’s Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Day
There will be no make-up days.
For larger pick-ups of yard waste, grapple trucks (claw trucks) can be requested by calling the county at North Brevard (321) 636-6894. They generally have a 48 hour response time.
